Fulbright 2022-23
During my grant period I worked with Dr. Chanda VanderHart and her company, Talespin-Musical Tales for Big and Small, to produce an original children’s book and concert series available in English, French, German, and Arabic.

Produced and created by RealTime Interventions, Khūrākī is an immersive theater experience that celebrates the beauty of Afghanistan through theatrical portraits of five strong women who will forever be Afghan but have recently become Americans as well.

Children's Theater Director
Emily is an experienced stage and music director for children’s theater. She has worked with students ages 5-18 at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy, Winchester Thurston Schools, San Rafael Elementary, and Saratoga Children’s Theatre.

Whispering Woods
Inspired by our deep rooted connection to nature, this sound and ceramics installation was on display at the Southern California Children’s Museum March-April 2024, inviting visitors on an enchanting journey that bridges the gap between the natural world and ancient mythologies.

Cendrillon
A feature film of Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon, produced by Pittsburgh Festival Opera. Emily portrays the stepsister Maguelone and the voice of La Fée.

Opera Harmony on OperaVision
In 2020 Emily wrote a micro-opera with her best friend Caleb Glickman, composer. The piece ended up as a part of the Opera Harmony Festival which premiered on OperaVision.
